A historic winery in the Barsac appellation, closely associated with the Dubourdieu family and its long-standing expertise in white Bordeaux wines. The estate was acquired by Georges Dubourdieu in 1924 and later passed to his son Pierre, who created the dry white wine “Grand Vin Sec” in the 1950s. Today, the family tradition is continued by the fourth generation, Fabrice and Jean-Jacques Dubourdieu.
The vineyards are located on the higher part of the Barsac plateau, where clay and limestone soils predominate. These geological conditions contribute to the structure and minerality of the wines, while careful vineyard management helps preserve aromatic intensity and natural freshness.

The estate’s philosophy is based on precise winemaking and respect for the distinctive character of each plot. The dry white wine is made from ‘Sauvignon Blanc’ grapes, while fermentation and ageing in oak barrels contribute texture and complexity. This approach aims to maintain a balance between the variety’s characteristic aromatic intensity, freshness and the subtle influence of oak ageing.
